Mike began his career by working in leadership positions in Sports Business and Entertainment. He worked in a variety of areas in sports marketing, event management, and facility operations and ultimately earned the role of General Manager for a Minor League Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Later, Mike was hired and promoted to Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth internet media agency where he was responsible for establishing the business operations and financial strategies of several successful startups. Mike has also served as CFO and Controller for a global automotive supplier delivering public relations and event management services to clients such as Subaru, Jaguar, and Volkswagen. There, Mike was responsible for developing business processes and financial strategies for the rapidly growing agency.

Mike has nearly 20 years of experience in working with small businesses with an expertise for the unique and dynamic needs of companies in transition. He has been involved in several industries spanning Sport Management, Facility Operations, Entertainment, Event Management, Technology, Automotive, Internet, Retail, and Business Services. He has experience leading in transitional environments such as turnarounds, startups, rapid growth, acquisitions, downsizing, divestures, and outsourcing. In these environments, Mike has successfully delivered in the areas of financial management, budgeting and control, accounting and reporting, and contract negotiation.
