My Experience
Prior to Greg’s partnership with Basic Business Concepts, Greg provided business valuation services for clients in a variety of industries for such purposes as merger and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, analysis of goodwill impairment, tax, transaction support and corporate governance. Greg developed the Economic and Valuation Services practice for the Pittsburgh office of one of the Big 4 accounting firms where he provided business valuations and transfer pricing services for a variety of Fortune 1000 and private equity clients in such industries as metals, food, technology and energy.
Greg also worked for a turnaround management firm in Pittsburgh where he provided interim-management of troubled businesses and mergers and acquisitions services for client businesses. Greg has significant experience in the start-up business arena as well, helping to develop two businesses in the education technology space. His work with start-up companies has included financial modeling, cash flow management, business strategy development and business plan creation.
Greg graduated with a B.A. from Dickinson College and earned a Masters in Public and International Affairs from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
