My Experience
Sheila is a former owner in a small, cabinet building company. Her role was to direct day to day office operations as well as mange company finances. Her primary responsibilities included the development of operations objectives and strategic plans to establish lasting relationships with clients. Sheila encouraged the construction team to exceed their expectations and gain the trust of clients through exceptional performance.
Sheila is active in the non-profit sector. She was instrumental in helping to establish Courage for Carina Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2009. This Foundation was created in honor of a Carina Ruth –Ann Britz, a child who was born in our Akron neighborhood with a life threatening illness. This Foundation supports Akron Children’s Hospital, and more specifically, the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center. The goal of Palliative Care is to minimize suffering and enhance quality of life for infants, children and young adults who are journeying through a chronic, complex, or life-threatening condition.
