My Experience
Charles J Frasca has over 35 years as a controller or CFO with a demonstrated history in the facilities service industry within privately held or a division of a publicly held company. Core competencies are: strategic planning, financial reporting, P&L oversight, inventory management, and cost/benefit analysis.
Prior to joining Basic Business Concepts, Charlie was the CFO for MMC Land Management – a landscape, snow removal and erosion control company. During that time, he was responsible for directing accounting and finance, performing financial reporting and analysis, quarterly forecasting, yearly budgeting, company insurances, cash flow, inventory management, banking relations, job profitability reports, and yearly accountants’ compilation engagement. In addition, he implemented a new job costing system to better track job and corporate profitability (Aspire).
Before MMC, he was the regional controller for the soup and infant feeding division of TreeHouse foods. This division was formally Del Monte foods and prior to that it was the HJ Heinz company. Here he provided financial analysis for plant efficiency, established 40 separate controls in partnership with internal auditing to become SOX compliant, conduct yearly budget and quarterly forecasts, spearheaded project to establish cost controls in intercompany shipments.
Charlie earned his Masters Degree, focused in financial management, from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
